The 18th Conference on Advanced Information Systems Engineering

Information systems are everywhere. They have a large impact on the every day life of organisations as well as individuals. In the light of ambient, pervasive and ubiquitous computing this impact will increase significantly. Organisations as well as individuals depend more and more on information systems that they did not develop themselves, that they do not fully understand, or that they do not manage and control themselves. Trust of organisations and individuals in information systems is thus becoming a central issue in their effective usage.

Goal: CAiSE’06 aims to bring together practitioners and researchers in the field of information systems engineering. CAiSE’06 invites submissions on the development, maintenance, procurement and usage of information systems – especially submissions dealing with the aspect of trust of individuals and organisations in an information system.
