  • European Master Computacional Logic Student Workshop at the Library, on 18th and 19th February
  • Feb 2015
  • Computational Logic is a wide interdisciplinary field having its theoretical and practical roots in mathematics, computer science, logic, and artificial intelligence.

This is an active area of research and teaching in the Department of Computer Science of FCT/NOVA, that has been offering, since 2004, an integrated and distributed European Master's Program in Computational Logic (EMCL), with the support of the European ERASMUS Mundus Programme, in a consortium with other leading European universities (Technical University of Dresden, Technical University of Vienna and  Free University of Bolzano) and an Australian partner research institution (NICTA).

The EMCL Student Workshop is an annual event that brings together students, alumni, professors from all partner universities. The goal of this workshop is to share knowledge and experiences about the European Master's Program in Computational Logic among the students of the program. Students are invited to make presentations, including the presentation of the best master thesis of the previous year.

This year, the EMCL Student Workshop will take place on 18th and 19th February 2015 in the Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia (Library auditorium), and the full programme is available here. The attendance to all sessions is free for all interested.
