In the context of several ongoing collaborations with the NOVA LINCS Knowledge Based Systems Group, Boris Mirkin, Professor of Computer Science in the Higher School of Economics, Moscow, visited the Computer Science Department and NOVA LINCS hosted by KBS researcher Susana Nascimento. On this occasion, Boris Mirkin offered two seminars in the field of knowledge extraction and data classification:

• Using a domain taxonomy for the analysis of structure and level of research: A multifaceted project in semantic data analysis
