  • As part of several initiatives to promote gender balance in the professional areas related to Informatics, NOVA LINCS and Departamento de Informática of FCT NOVA have organized the webinar Girls in ICT, on July 23.

    During this webinar, Carolina Ferreira and Inês Nunes, who are currently students in the Integrated Master in Computer Engineering at FCT NOVA, and Joana Pereira, who finished this master degree at FCT NOVA in 2019, have shared their academic and professional experience with high school girls who participated in this webinar.

    In addition to learning about the experience of our engineers and future engineers, several professors clarified issues related to campus life, the curriculum plan and the evaluation method of this integrated master.

    The webinar was organized by Armanda Rodrigues, Carla Ferreira and Teresa Romão, who are professors in the Departamento de Informática of FCT NOVA and researchers at NOVA LINCS, and are also Portuguese ambassadors of the Technovation Girls Program (Technovation Girls Portugal).
