MULDRE - Multidimensional Dimensional Analysis of Requirements Level Trade-Offs
Jan 2004 - Feb 2007
The aim of the project is to develop a framework to analyse trade-offs among system requirements in a multi-dimensional fashion. The trade-off analysis will form the basis of deriving a validation specification for verification of the resultant implementation with reference to the established trade-offs.
The project will develop a framework for multi-dimensional analysis of requirements-level trade-offs. More specifically the project will: (1) develop a mechanism to model and specify requirements-level concerns in a uniform fashion; (2) develop a mechanism to project the influence of a set of requirements-level concerns on another set; (2) develop a mechanism to analyse trade-offs during projections based on attaching fuzzy importance values to the concerns.
