DSML4MAS – Developing a Framework on Evaluating Domain-specific Modeling Languages for Multi-agent Systems

Software agents and multi-agent systems (MAS) are useful abstractions for modelling and automatic building of autonomous composite systems with the economic and social impact such as online trading, disaster response, and modelling social structures. Domain-Specific Languages are used to program those systems, but there is little knowledge on how to evaluate them, frequently leading to complex to use and error-prone technology choices. This project will devise an evaluation framework for MAS DSLs.
