TTVAL is an interface for manually validating and/or correcting term translations automatically extracted by TREX system. it interfaces a database of translated terms already validated or yet waiting for validation and those translation terms that were corrected, being considered as incorrectly extracted. This work was done by Luís Gomes under the supervision of Gabriel Pereira Lopes.
This interface makes use of the bilingual concordancer constructed by Luís Gomes. This way, linguists can easily consult the parallel corpus and see from where extracted translation was picked up, specially when it presents some problem of correcteness.
