  • Inside VORTEX-CoLab
  • VORTEX-Colab is a collaborative laboratory established in 2019 resulting from a joint venture between the companies Altran Portugal and Beta-I with research centers CISTER, INESC TEC, and NOVA LINCS, whose commitment is to become a national and also European reference in the areas of safety & security of cyber-physical systems. With that in mind, VORTEX-CoLab implements an operational model that focuses on bridging the gap between academia and industry through the transfer of technology of excellent academic results produced by our academic partners and fit those results into acceleration cycles that aim at maturing those results into solutions that respond to industry needs and trends. In this seminar, I will talk about how we are responding to these ambitious commitments by giving an overview of our ongoing projects (including the ones in collaboration with NOVA LINCS) and describe how we are bringing value by transposing academic knowledge onto the national and European business fabric and bringing business challenges to our associates.
