An implementation of PVM over the VIA architecture

In this talk we present an implementation of PVM over the VIA architecture. Using VIA, the PVM communication primitives performance approaches those of the communications hardware. To ease the PVM port, a stream library (LSL-Lite Stream Library) was developed. LSL supplies a socket-like interface to VIA.
