Performance analysis and tuning of parallel/distributed applications

This presentation summarizes the research line that focuses on automatic and dynamic performance analysis and tuning of parallel/distributed applications. Our research group investigates performance models that represent execution of such applications. We develop tools for a run-time automated performance analysis, and a dynamic performance tuning. We consider automatic tuning of applications developed by using programming frameworks or based on mathematical libraries. Our goal is to analyse and tune applications executed in cluster or grid environments.
