Portable Micro-Service Architectures with Spring and CloudFoundry

I give an overview of CloudFoundry PasS platform, and demonstrate how the Cloud Foundry command-line tool and Eclipse Plugin can be used to deploy applications to Pivotal Web-Services (PWS) – a public Cloud Foundry installation. I next describe the use of Spring Cloud Connectors, a library to develop and deploy applications in a cloud portable way. In particular, I show how applications can be developed and tested locally and seemly deployed to Cloud Foundry. The Micro-Services architecture style is argued to fit well in this technology landscape.
