Quality and Evolution: Some Relationships

This talk provides a necessarily very restricted overview of some
relationships between quality and system evolution, drawing on examples from
the papers of the ‘Quality Evolution in ICT’ track from the recent
QUATIC’2010 conference, other literature, and our own work. We will touch
upon both product and process evolution, code and architectural quality, and
socio-technical issues, using Lehman’s laws as a running thread.
