Publication date: 1 de June, 2021SILC: Simple Interface for Library Collections
The talk will present an overview of a matrix computation framework
named Simple Interface for Library Collections (SILC). SILC is a piece
of middleware that allows users to use matrix computation libraries
independently of particular computing environments and programming
languages. The talk will present the design and implementation of SILC,
together with some performance results in simple test applications
as well about case studies of real-world numerical simulations in
SILC. Finally, a performance evaluation model will be presented that
describes the costs of using SILC in terms of communication time.
