SAI (Suffix Array Indexer for Information Retrieval and Text Mining) is an indexer based on suffix Array technology, which was built for the European ASTROLABIUM project in order to provide us with in-house built technology for responding to the project needs in terms of volume of information indexed, and in terms of project needs for Text Mining from huge volumes of information. Meanwhile, it has evolved along PATRAS project. This system was implemented by José Aires under the supervision of Gabriel Pereira Lopes.
