NOVA LINCS team selected for the Amazon Nova AI Challenge

David Semedo and João Magalhães, researchers at the NOVA LINCS Multimodal Systems group, had their research proposal selected for the 2025 Amazon Nova AI Challenge, a global university AI competition. Their proposal, which focuses on enhancing the trustworthiness of Large Language Models (LLMs), was one of the ten selected applications from a pool of 90 applicants worldwide.
The team will include eight students, comprising PhD students Diogo Silva, Diogo Tavares, and Rafael Ferreira, as well as MSc students João Pedro Soares, Daniel Pina, Iago Paulo, Artur Horal, and Henrique Paz. The NOVA LINCS team will be supervised by David Semedo and João Magalhães.
