Three NOVA LINCS researchers among the World’s Top 2% Scientists list

Luís Alexandre, Luís Caires, and Luís Moniz Pereira researchers at NOVA Laboratory for Computer Science and Informatics (NOVA LINCS), were ranked among the top 2% of the world’s most highly-cited scientists, according to the updated study published by Stanford University (USA).
Prof. John Ioannidis and his team from Stanford University, used Scopus to created a publicly available database of 100,000 top-scientists that provides standardized information on citations, h-index, co-authorship adjusted hm-index, citations to papers in different authorship positions and a composite indicator.
In this ranking, scientists are classified into 22 scientific fields and 176 sub-fields. The first version was published in 2019. The updated list published on 19th October used Scopus database until August 2021.
The list includes more than 700 Portuguese researchers, of which 40 are from NOVA School of Science and Technology | FCT NOVA.
